One Click LCA is for buildings. Devera is for the products on the shelves.
If you make cosmetics, food, textile, or any consumer product, One Click LCA was not designed for you. Devera was. Self-service, published pricing, and databases tuned for the products you actually ship.
ISO 14040/44 and 14067 compliant. Ecoinvent, AGRIBALYSE, INCI included.
Three things to know before you compare
Built for consumer products, not buildings.
One Click LCA is optimized for buildings, infrastructure, and construction materials. Devera is tuned for cosmetics, food, textile, and CPG. Different data, different workflows, different tool.
No sales call. Just sign up.
One Click LCA requires a demo to see pricing. Devera publishes plans from 49 euros and lets you run your first LCA without speaking to anyone.
AI builds the LCA, not just verifies it.
One Click LCA uses AI mostly for EPD verification. Devera uses AI to build the full inventory from product data, so you start with a complete LCA instead of a blank canvas.
Different products require different tools
Life cycle assessment is not one discipline. A building LCA, a product LCA, and an organizational footprint share the same methodology foundation but diverge in the details. The activities you model, the databases you rely on, the standards you comply with, and even the words used in the interface all reflect the kind of thing you are measuring.
One Click LCA is a product of the building industry. Its core strength is construction. BIM integrations for Revit and other design tools, EPD generation workflows for construction products, and support for building-specific compliance frameworks. The platform covers manufacturing as well, with a broader scope, but the DNA is still construction.
Devera is a product of the consumer goods world. The databases prioritize materials and ingredients found in cosmetics, food, textiles, and CPG. The INCI database is integrated for cosmetic formulations. AGRIBALYSE handles food-specific flows. The terminology, the report format, and the typical questions the tool answers are the ones asked by a sustainability manager at a CPG brand, not by an architect.
Neither tool is better in absolute terms. They are better at different jobs. If you are picking which to use, the most important question is what you actually make.

Vertical focus and databases
The biggest reason to pick one tool over the other is what you make. Construction is a specialized world. Concrete mixes, structural steel, insulation, glazing, and HVAC components have their own databases, their own standards (EN 15804, EN 15978), and their own compliance context. One Click LCA is built on that foundation and covers that world extremely well.
Consumer products have a different anatomy. A cosmetic product has an INCI ingredient list and a formulation. A food product has an agricultural supply chain, transport, and cold chain emissions. A textile product has fibers, dyeing, cut-make-trim, and garment transport. These are different problems with different data requirements.
Devera includes INCI for cosmetics, AGRIBALYSE for food, and consumer-packaging-specific flows. The AI understands the difference between a shampoo bottle and a yogurt cup. The report templates are designed for retailer questionnaires and product pages, not for construction compliance.
Sales model and access
One Click LCA operates a traditional enterprise SaaS model. To see pricing you book a demo. A sales representative qualifies the opportunity, proposes a plan, and negotiates terms. For large construction firms with procurement processes, this is standard and works well.
For a small or mid-sized consumer brand, that model is friction. You want to see if the tool fits before you invest a sales conversation. Devera is designed for that reality. The pricing page shows three plans starting at 49 euros. You can sign up, run an analysis, and see an actual result before you decide whether to talk to anyone.
If you later need a custom plan, API access, or enterprise support, those options exist. But the default path is self-service. That is a fundamentally different go-to-market, and it reflects a different kind of buyer.
AI scope and what it actually does
Both platforms describe themselves as AI-powered, and both use AI, but the scope is different. One Click LCA uses AI primarily for EPD verification and quality checks on inputs that have already been gathered. The practitioner still does the modeling. The AI validates.
Devera uses AI as the primary modeling engine. The AI reads product data from a URL or document, identifies materials and packaging, maps them to Ecoinvent activities, fills gaps using validated proxies, and proposes a complete inventory. The user reviews, adjusts, and finalizes.
This is a different level of automation. It is also why Devera can produce an LCA in minutes while a traditional tool, including One Click LCA in its core workflow, still takes hours or days for a product analysis.
Who each tool is for
One Click LCA is the right choice for architects, contractors, and construction product manufacturers. If you publish EPDs for construction products, need BIM integration, or manage whole-building LCAs, One Click LCA is a proven tool in that world.
Devera is the right choice for consumer brands. Cosmetic, food, textile, CPG, and any product that ends up on a shelf or in a package. If you want published pricing, self-service access, and a workflow tuned for retail sustainability rather than building compliance, Devera is designed for you.
What our users say
Devera makes product carbon footprinting accessible to teams without deep LCA expertise. The automated data extraction alone saves us hours per project.
We needed a reliable way to measure our product impact without hiring an external consultancy. Devera delivered exactly that — fast, auditable, and ISO-compliant.
What used to take our team months of back-and-forth with consultants now takes minutes. The benchmark feature helps us communicate our progress to stakeholders.
The level of traceability in Devera's reports is impressive. Every emission factor is documented and sourced — exactly what we need for our Green Claims compliance.
The what-if simulator is a game changer. We can test different materials and packaging options and see the impact instantly. Helps us make better design decisions.

Getting started with Devera
If you have used One Click LCA or another enterprise LCA tool in a consumer context, here is how most teams get productive fast.
- 1
Start with one product
Pick a product you already know well. Paste the URL or upload a specification. Devera proposes an inventory in minutes. Review it, adjust anything that looks off, and export the report. You will know by the end whether this fits your workflow.
- 2
Expand to a portfolio
Once the first analysis validates the approach, move through a priority list. Most teams cover 20 products in the time it used to take to model one. Use the same account, the same export format, and the same methodology across all of them.
- 3
Integrate into decisions
Plug the results into retailer questionnaires, product pages, and internal packaging decisions. When results are minutes away instead of weeks, sustainability becomes part of the product workflow rather than a separate project.
Frequently asked questions
Can I do building LCAs in Devera?
No. Devera is focused on consumer and industrial products. For whole-building LCAs, construction product EPDs, or BIM-integrated workflows, One Click LCA is the better tool.
Can I do consumer product LCAs in One Click LCA?
Their manufacturing module covers some product types, but the platform is not optimized for CPG, cosmetics, food, or textile. You lose the vertical-specific databases and workflows.
Is Devera cheaper than One Click LCA?
One Click LCA does not publish pricing, so a direct comparison is not possible. What we can say is that Devera publishes prices starting at 49 euros and you can see the cost before any sales call.
Does Devera support EPDs?
Devera produces ISO 14067 compliant product carbon footprints that can be used for product-level EPDs and retailer questionnaires. For construction product EPDs under EN 15804, specialized tools are a better fit.
Can I try Devera without a demo?
Yes. Sign up with an email, start your first analysis, and see the result. No sales call required.
What if I make both buildings and consumer products?
Many large firms do. Using two tools is normal in that case. One Click LCA for the building side, Devera for the consumer product side. Both are ISO compliant and both are auditable.
Do Devera reports meet retailer sustainability requirements?
Yes. The PDF and Excel exports include full methodology disclosure, emission factor sources, and ISO compliance statements. Major retailer questionnaires have been answered with Devera reports.
